The meeting of an artwork highlights a pre-existing inner emotion waiting after a trigger to manifest and finally be lived. This is what interests me in Art and motivates me; to allow, in the time of the encounter and through what in the artwork touches us, a better knowledge of the being that we live.
Photographer for several years (I trained in photography at the National Schools of Photography in Arles, then the Fine Arts in Paris), I temporarily shut down the camera and dark room in 2008 to return to my first passions that were drawing and painting.
The laboratory is transformed into a Studio, while at the same time I leave Paris for Brussels.
It was at this same time that I began to explore self-taught volume and sculpture.
A first work The standing man - in tribute to Antonin Artaud and his drawing The man and his pain and to the man walking by Alberto Giacometti- is quickly followed by many other sculptures in wood, plaster, glass, as so many happy experiences.
At the same time, life experiences in the private sphere led me in 2015 to train as an art therapist: this training initiated my career in the field of personal care, while opening me up to new creative energies.
